Tatti is a mechanical engineer specialised in turbomachinery aeromecanics, with a PhD in Engineer. Her doctorate research was completed in Cardiff University’s Cardiff Marine Energy Research Group (CMERG), where she made a techno-economic analysis of tidal stream turbines operating in low speed flows.

Tatti has been using her technical background in marine energy to support  the growth and networking of the sector: in PAMEC.Energy Association’s board of directors, advising POES with initiatives for students in and from Panamerica, and previously in INORE as Research Coordinator managing the OES Blue Energy Scholarships and leading international workshops.

Besides her role in PAMEC.Energy Association, Tatti also applies her turbomachinery and international team leadership expertise in the onshore wind energy sector, as Group Lead of the Global Blade Service Technology team in Nordex Group.
