COPPE/UFRJ, the Consulate General of Canada in Rio de Janeiro, and the PAMEC.Energy (Pan-American Marine Energy Association) and Marine Renewables Canada have partnered to organize a workshop to present opportunities, barriers, and challenges for developing marine renewable projects in Brazil, including offshore wind, wave energy, ocean current, thermal gradient, and hydrogen production from these sources. The objective is to bring the two countries closer together by promoting business and research partnerships.
