Call for Abstracts

The Call for Expressions of Interest to submit an extended abstract for presentation at PAMEC 2024 has now ended. We want to thank everyone who answered the call as it has greatly assisted us in our pre-planning for the conference and given us confidence that this may be our biggest and greatest PAMEC yet! We want to make it clear that submitting an Expression of Interest was not a requirement, and that all are still welcome to provide an Extended Abstract by the deadline of June 26th, 2023.
We received Expressions of Interest from the US, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Panama, Chile, Brazil, Argentina, United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Research topics cover the full spectrum of marine energies and disciplines from OTEC, Salinity Gradient, Wave, Tidal & Instream to Desalination, Floating Solar PV, Environmental Effects and Offshore Wind.
Those that submitted an Expression of Interest will be contacted directly in the weeks ahead and provided with instructions as to how submit their Extended Abstracts for review. If you did not submit an Expression of Interest and are intending to submit an Extended Abstract, please sign up to our mailing list to receive the details and instructions on providing your research for presentation in Barranquilla, Colombia, January 21-23, 2024.
