International Advisory Board Role in PAMEC

The creation of PAMEC is supported by key marine renewable energy research leaders in Europe and Asia. To help maintain strong linkages with other parts of the world, PAMEC has established an International Advisory Board, with leaders from both the EWTEC and the AWTEC.

Cameron Johnstone – is Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK and Director of the university’s Energy Systems Research Unit. He is on the EWTEC Executive Board and the EWTEC Advisory Committee to AWTEC. He is also CEO of Nautricity Ltd.

Chur H Jo – is Professor of Inha University (Korea). He is on the AWTEC Organizing Committee and the Executive Board. He was also the Chair of the first AWTEC in Jejeu, South Korea, 2012.

Bruce Cameron – is an Adjunct Fellow at the University of Southampton, and President of PAMEC.Energy Association. He is retired from 20 years of service in the Nova Scotia
Government, with leadership roles in the areas of renewable energy and electricity. He is now Principal Consultant with Envigour Policy Consulting Inc. (Canada)

Jiahen-Hong Chen – is a Professor of National Taiwan Ocean University, and Chair of the Organizing Committee for the4th AWTEC held in Taipei, 2018.

AbuBakr Bahaj – is a Professor of Sustainable Energy at the University of Southampton. He is on the EWTEC Executive Board and the EWTEC Advisory Committee to AWTEC. He is Editor-in-
Chief of the International Marine Energy Journal.
