The Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday, April 16th, 2021. Details including a formal agenda and supporting documents will be circulated to members prior to the meeting.
Elections to Board of Directors
In the meantime, a Call for Nominations for board members is now open until March 14th, 2021 to fill several vacancies. More particularly, members can nominate themselves or another member over the next 30 days. In the event that a member is nominated for two positions, the nominee must decide which position they will seek to be elected to. Nominees are to provide a bio and picture to confirm their acceptance of the nomination in an email to the PAMEC Secretary at secretary@pamec.energy.
The results of the nominations will be provided to the Board after the 30-day period has been completed. If there is more than one nominee for a position, a vote will be conducted by members via email for another 30-day period with the results presented at the Annual General Meeting for members to formally elect the board of directors for the year ahead..
The Term of a Director is for 2 years and the following positions will be up for election in 2021:
Directors at Large – 5 positions
Director for Canada – 1 position
Director for South America – 1 position
Some of those holding a position now up for election have indicated they intend to reoffer. However, the bylaws do not allow someone to serve more than three 2-year terms.
This Call is in line with the Association’s Policy.
