Daniel Hasselman is the Founder and Principal of AquaVeritas Research, where he specializes in strategic planning and offers expertise in assessing how human activities impact aquatic and marine ecosystems, with a focus on sustainable development of marine renewable energy resources in Canada. Dan holds a PhD in Biology from Dalhousie University and has served as a Research Associate at both the University of Washington and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Dan has over two decades of experience engaging with the international research community, forging partnerships with Indigenous organizations, and working closely with government and regulatory bodies in both Canada and the United States.
