Naval Engineer (UACh) and Doctor in Engineering Sciences (TU Berlin), currently Associate
Professor at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the Universidad Austral de Chile and in
charge of the Hydrodynamic Test Channel of this same university. In addition, he is a principal
investigator at the MERIC center, focusing his interest on the hydrodynamic analysis of marine
energy technologies through numerical and experimental methods, as well as the development
of design and evaluation methods for operational aspects related to the manufacturing,
installation, maintenance and dismantling of these devices.
